I wear several hats, both literally and figuratively (though rarely simultaneously). One of those figurative hats is director of CosmoAcademy, the online education wing of CosmoQuest. Today I am pleased to announce the start of our 2014 season of online classes! Coupled with that, we’ve relaunched the site under a new address: CosmoAcademy.org .

The first class is Introduction to Dark Matter, which I will be teaching myself starting in two weeks:

Roughly eighty percent of all the mass in the Universe is made of dark matter – a mysterious invisible substance responsible for the structure of galaxies. But how do we know that?
